Admissions Procedures

Full Time School & Quran Memorization (Hifth) Program

Students’ Admission Process:

  • Parents fill the iParents fill the initial registration form online with details about the Applicant/s
  • Parents pay the registration fee (Non Refundable)
  • A meeting with the administration will be set with the parents 
  • Parents pay the registration fee (Non Refundable)
  • A meeting with the administration will be set with the parents to:
  1. Interview the parents 
  2. Interview the applicant/s
  3. Applicant must pass an assessment at the school in a one-on-one setting
  4. Assessment tools will be used to measure the applicants’ abilities in English and mathematics to ensure their readiness for the grade they enroll in 
  • Request relevant information about the applicant/s: 
  1. Proof of the student age and identity (a birth certificate or another reliable document stating the child’s identity and age such as a passport, school ID card etc.
  2. Records of vaccinations and immunization. 
  3. Records from previous school (all pertinent information i.e. Report cards, medical records, IEP etc.) 
  • Confirmation of Enrollment. All information requested by M&M Academy must be received before a student is considered officially enrolled.
  • Assign the student the correct class (plan modification if necessary) .
  • Set up the payment plan and sign the contract for the school year.

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST:

  • Proof of the student age and identity (a birth certificate or another reliable document stating the child’s identity and age such as a passport, school ID card etc.)
  • Records of vaccinations and immunization.  waivers must be up-to-date, and proof submitted before ANY student is admitted to class.   Religious waivers for immunizations will be accepted and must be submitted before the student is admitted to the class.   
  • Records from previous school (all pertinent information i.e., Report cards, medical records, IEP etc.) Based on the student interview, additional records and pertinent evaluations may be requested from previous schools. 
  • Students without transcripts, pertinent records, and the latest report cards will be given provisional placement status. Parents will be notified of their child’s status in writing. 
  • Parent/Guardian picture ID.

Placement Tests for New Students:

  1. Students will be tested in English and Math. 
  2. Diagnostic tests in Math and or English will be given as needed. 
  3. Behavioral assessments will also be conducted as needed.

Age and Promotion requirements:

Minimum age requirements upon entering (In addition to age there might be other criteria in placing a student in the appropriate grade): 

  • Kindergarten      5 Years old before September 1st (special permission might be granted for students who turn 5 between September 2nd and September 30th. However, it is at the school’s discretion) 
  • First Grade         6 Years
  • Second Grade    7 Years 
  • Third Grade        8 Years 
  • Fourth grade      9 Years 
  • Fifth Grade        10 Years 
  • Sixth Grade       11 Years 
  • Seventh Grade  12 Years
  • Eighth Grade     13 Years 
  • Highschool        14 Years or older

Summer Camp & Arabic, Quran, Islamic Studies Online Program (AQI Online Program):

  • Parents fill the initial registration form online with details about the Applicant/s
  • Parents pay the registration fee (Non Refundable)
  • Assign the student the correct class (plan modification if necessary) 
  • Set up the payment plan and sign the contract for the school year.
